Pho Mekha Astoria

Absolutely fantastic! The pho with all the meats was rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced—the broth was deeply aromatic, and the meats were tender and delicious. And the thit kho? Incredible! The pork was melt-in-your-mouth tender, with a perfect balance of savory and sweet flavors. Everything tasted authentic and made with care. Definitely a must-visit for anyone craving amazing Vietnamese food!

What a fantastic addition to the Astoria culinary scene! My intent was to go in and try the Pho Ga, but I ended up ordering their Grilled Chicken Vermicelli Bowl instead. I was not disappointed! It was a fantastic choice. The bowl arrived with a HUGE portion of vermicelli rice noodles packed with expertly julienne carrots and cucumbers, bean sprouts, mint, and cilantro. The grilled chicken was plentiful AND delicious! The grilled flavor was perfect. An amazing sweet sauce tied all the flavors together making my taste buds explode with delight! My friend got the Tofu bowl and I could tell she thoroughly enjoyed it. We also ordered some Fresh Spring rolls with chicken. They were packed with vermicelli noodles, lettuce, bean sprouts and basil, accompanied with a thick peanut sauce. They were very tasty, with the peanut sauce tying all the flavors together nicely. I can't wait to go back and try the Pho. I can only imagine how tasty it will be! Such a great addition to the restaurant scene in Astoria. Definite two thumbs up! Some reviews are making comments about the prices being too high. Honestly, everything is priced too high! They are no higher than any other restaurant in the area. Small businesses are struggling, and the consumer is absorbing the ridiculous taxes and product costs. (Remember this when you vote, cause that’s who’s to blame!) Go check them out.

Everything about this place was amazing. The butterfly shrimp was delicious. The pho bowls were the best in the area and the amazing staff were so kind and inviting. They gave us tons of great sauce suggestions to mix our food into and we couldn't have asked for a better lunch experience.

I stopped in for a bite on my way through town and was so glad I did. I pho and it was so fresh and delicious. I also enjoyed the decor. There was plenty to look at while we waited. Also the staff were really friendly and attentive.

I stopped by here for lunch. The food itself is a little spendy, but with rising inflation I don't know how other shops would be able to keep it down, let alone with all the specialty ingredients that are hard to find in town like tripe. Pho is one of my all-time favorite foods, same with fresh rolls. The pho here was very good! At first, I was apprehensive of the fresh rolls, but once I tried them with the peanut sauce, it was amazing (and I don't even normally like peanut sauce).

First time in and won't be my last time. My girlfriend and I came in after watching a movie at the theatre near by, 2 minutes away, the best idea ever was coming here. The service was wonderful, the choices for Pho was incredible and I got Pho Dac biet, had Pho in the past but This was out of this world. Got the Pork spring rolls to start, there peanut sauce was delicious.

Perhaps the best Vietnamese food I’ve ever tasted. My wife’s vegetarian bowl was equally praised by her; and she’s a pretty tough sell. Fresh ingredients, well prepared and the base for my Pho was fabulous. Good service, nice men providing service. The decorations are not your typical, eclectic and a bit unusual, but did not distract. NO tv running anywhere and no pictures of the food in the windows!! Highly recommend.

Dry Pho with tofu and meat ball Pho were both delicious!! Service was friendly & quick. Older gentlemen got me to try hot sauce.. had a good laugh with him. We WILL be back.
